During shamanic sessions in nature, a benefactor or a nagual can talk about the guardians of a place. It is time to give a short explanation to the meaning of this symbol.

They are called “guardians” compared to prison guards. They open the door of your cell but you don’t see them. If they come to free you, then you see them! As most people remain prisoners in the first attention, they need guardians to open the second attention door to them.
The ordinary world sees only what they are told to see. They are locked in the prison of the first attention. The wise eye, having exceeded the limits of sight, passes into vision and thus accesses the second attention.
