In Native American shamanic traditions, the Eagle is considered as the ultimate totem animal of shamans and the symbol of the Great Spirit. He embodies clear vision, wisdom, courage and direct connection to the divine thanks to his ability to fly very high, close to the sun.

Major symbolic aspects:
* Sacred medicine: The eagle feather is a powerful medicine used to heal the aura of the sick, absorb negative energies and transport the shaman’s soul into invisible spaces during trances.
* Initiation and transformation: The eagle acts as a psychopomp (guide of souls) and initiator, representing spiritual regeneration and the ability to see beyond earthly appearances.
* Cosmic balance: It symbolizes the Sky-Earth duality (often associated with the jaguar for the earth) and serves as an axis connecting the worlds, teaching to appreciate both light and shadow.
Listening to the sounds of symbolism!

* Águila Aguile (from Ecuador). This is a medicine song from the mountains of Ecuador, sung by Iván Donalson and Giannina Leyva
Y ese pájaro...
Es mi abuelo
Es mi abuelo que canta,
Que canta enamorado.
Y ese pájaro
Es mi abuela
Es mi abuela que canta,
Que canta enamorada.

* Fly like an eagle (Steve Miller Band 1976), lyrics
I wanna fly like an eagle
To the sea
Fly like an eagle
Let my spirit carry me
I want to fly like an eagle 'Til I'm free
Oh, Lord, through the revolution

* L’Aigle Noir (Barbara-1970- French song), paroles
Un beau jour,
Ou peut-être une nuit
Près d'un lac, je m'étais endormie
Quand soudain,
semblant crever le ciel
Et venant de nulle part,
Surgit un aigle noir.
