CHAMELEON: Slow, steady, surely

Updated: Mar 27, 2020

What do we think when we hear ‘’chameleon’’?

A slow reptile that changes colour.

But there is so much more behind that. The chameleon is one of the most mysterious animal we are so lucky to have in this planet. It has some rare super abilities that fascinates us and the world around them.

Adaptability

Chameleons are incredibly adaptable to all situations and surroundings. We can definitely say that they are masters of patience – not everyone could wait for their pray for hours and hours on; not moving, in stillness, almost as if invisible. (!) They represent steadiness, relaxation and calmness.

Transformation

Chameleons can easily transform themselves if needed. They camouflage to protect themselves from danger or to hunt. For people who seek chameleon symbolism this transformation could symbolize a new wind of change, new awareness, an inner search for stalking oneself and the possible changes in environment.

Perception

Symbolism of this powerful animal could also show us that the world and people that surround us will only perceive what you put out for others to see and believe.

Therefore, if you encounter this beautiful animal, in a dream, in your daily life, an advert or a perception, etc.. Try to see deeper within yourself.

Who are you in truth? Away from the conditioned world.

Maybe it is the time to accept, forget the burdens from your past and peacefully move on into a new unknown.

These little creatures teach us to be more grounded - their grip to the ground is strong and secure. In addition, they inspire us to be more patient and observant. The world is much more than what we see in the mirror, it is everything that is happening within us and as a consequence; around us.

Chameleon could bring us some peace of mind – we do not need to be in a hurry – just being present will do the trick. The rewards may follow.
